“Green Living Express” a giant board game developed for FedEx Expo event

Inspired by the five elements of nature in Chinese culture, we developed an experiential learning concept for our partner FedEx, featuring five modern elements to support sustainable development: water, energy, plastic, food, and forest. Green Living Express is a giant board game, where participants experiment within five different stations and learn about their environmental footprint. We designed, constructed and ran this activity as an interactive learning experience so participants could better understand the key environmental challenges and how to keep the elements in balance by reducing their environmental impact. FedEx hosted the game in the US National Pavilion on Friday, June 18, 2010.
