COMPETITION ANNOUNCEMENT: Eco-Art Shanghai 2009 – Small Changes, Big Impact!
Eco-Art Shanghai 2009 is your chance to tell the world how small changes have big impacts on our environment. As part of the Shanghai Tourism Festival 2009, Touchmedia and Oriental Land invite you to submit your Eco-Art for inclusion into a large-scale eco-art landscape exhibition. An estimated 100,000 people will view the exhibition to help drive the change of thinking, attitudes and habits that will benefit environmental protection.
Collect materials in your home, school, office and neighborhood and stick it, crunch it, mold it, mix it, melt it, fold it, weld it, paint it, carve it, stitch it or shred it and then send it to us. All ages! All backgrounds! All nationalities! Show everyone how much you care about the environment!
1st prize is 10,000 RMB cash! Prizes will also be given for 2nd place (three spots) 3rd place (five spots) and Honorable Mentions (10 spots) with combined value of over 19,000 RMB. All entries accepted for exhibition will be entered into a lucky draw to win participation prizes including cash prizes of 1,000 RMB and eco-friendly products.
How to participate
Step 1: Request ENTRY FORM via email: eco-art@touchmedia.cn
Step 2: Submit your Eco-Art and ENTRY FORM by 6 p.m., Tuesday, September 15, 2009.
Email completed entry form and digital photo of completed artwork (under 3MB in size) to eco-art@touchmedia.cn with ‘Your Name + Entry’. If your work is accepted, organizers shall contact you within 2 days to arrange delivery; OR
Deliver your completed ENTRY FORM and completed work to the Touchevents Department, 3F 339 Yu Yao Road, Shanghai 200042.
Step 3: Visit the exhibition at Oriental Land from September 28-October 8.
